'I Have always been interested in knitting and crochet'
Bridie has always been interested in knitting and crochet. She works from home on a chair by the fire, usually in the evening and from there she listens to the radio or watches TV while she is working. She always looks forward to seeing the finished product.
Usually Bridie works alone but now and then she works in the company of friends.

What draws you to do creative work?
As a child I wanted to be do creative work and I do that along with being an amenity driver which is important to me also.
In Bridie's opinion, the best place to have a picnic in the area would be Mulranny Beach or the grounds of Westport House. The Great Western Greenway, the Reek and surrounding areas would be great places to bring visitors to show off some of the astounding beauty of County Mayo.
