Hats
Wonderful Array Of Various Wooly Hats, By Various Artisans
These unique individually handmade hats are a conglomeration of all of my hat collections. Each hat has been created totally by hand in Ireland. They feature unique designs. Some are simple with clean lines and some have motifs of flowers and creatures such as insects, like butterflies, ladybirds or bumblebees. among other things. They would make the perfect accessory for nature lovers, gardeners and wildlife enthusiasts who like the outdoors or simply those who just love hats.
Some of the berets have a feminine appeal being soft and floaty due to the lacy style stitch and choice of wool which makes them perfect for Summer and Winter. The band is loose an generous so depending on how you like to style it you may prefer to let it hang softly and losely or you may alternatively use a little clip to secure it in place.
The more rustic style beret with a more minimal decorative approach have a more masculine appeal and will suit those who appreciate nature and the outdoor life with minimal fuss.
You'll discover the favourite wooly hat with turn up, beanies both ribbed and plain knit, more formal flamboyant felt hats and lots in between.
Cosy wooly hats are particularly great for those who have an affinity with nature and the outdoors but they will be appreciated by others too. Each decorated one has been carefully hand knit and hand embellished with a unique and motif signaling a particular creature whether an insect or a mammal and each one reflects the imagination of the creator. Each beret is knit in a freestyle pattern and each one is different. This holds true for many other hats. The stitches and shapes are varied and interesting. There's surely a style for everyone.
The hand knit beret hats are, ‘easy wear easy care’.
They are made of mixed fibers including wool, acrylic and other yarns.
Where hats are made of pure wool the same care instructions can be taken into account.
Care Instructions
To care for your hat simply wash by hand with a small squirt of soft detergent in warm water squeezing just a little to bring up a lather. Then rinse before squeezing (not wringing though) or easier still just roll up in a clean towel, squeeze it and then allow to dry flat or drape over a non-absorbent surface or object such as a football, chair back or other smooth object and wait a day or so depending on the air temperature. Be careful not to use an electric clothes dryer or other quick drying options.
